Unravel the mystery of a town in the central United States that traps everyone who enters. The area, known as Beaver Bank Villa, has a long history and many years ago contained apartments, a meeting house, fire station, school, church, convenience store, etc. (all demolished in 2004) to support workers at a nearby military base in the 1950s and 1960s. The asphalt streets and driveways were left behind and a fake town was built on top of them. When Boyd steps into a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well. A rope is lowered towards him. When Boyd emerges from the well, Martin is the only one in the room and is chained to the wall. Martin did not throw the rope. Much better than I thought it would be based on the negative reviews here. So good that I devoured the first two seasons over a long weekend. I can’t wait for season three to come out. A great starting point for a show that shares some similarities with shows like Lost and Wayward Pines, but is different enough that it doesn’t feel like you’re watching the same show. I recommend it to anyone who likes horror/mystery type shows with a bit of gore. Really enjoyable and fun to watch. I just hope it makes more seasons or at least enough to give us answers to all the questions I still have. One of the best shows I’ve seen in a while.
