The Great Schools of Dune trilogy is a collection of short stories written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J
Synopsis
Whether they’re exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world a better place, these women are all about science fiction. Anderson. A prequel to the original Dune, it tells the story of how the Sisterhood of Rossak evolved into the Bene Gesserit.
The story was very loose, and the dialogue wasn’t done well
The episode where Valya Harkonnen voices her is from an event called «Mentats of Dune.» All three books intertwine the evolution of the Sisterhood, the Mentatis, the Navigators, and the Suk Doctors. I don’t want to be critical of just the first episode of the TV show, but this was just average on every level. The other actors felt like they were just out of a film academy or something.
Like I’ve heard a lot of music here that didn’t have an impact
I love slow-paced dramas that take forever to build because I know the reward is worth the wait. But this wasn’t just slow, there was a lot going on, but it was just boring, I don’t know how else to put it. The soundtrack that wanders through the movies was a little choppy here and there, there were familiar voices here and there, but the timing just wasn’t good.
My question is, did he even enjoy doing this?
I remembered how long we’d go to the movies just to talk to people, and then boom, Hans Zimmer does his magic, and I just got excited. But I know he wasn’t involved in doing the sounds here, and I don’t even need to check. Could such an average TV show after two epic movies affect the long-awaited third movie?
Food for thought
I wonder because The Penguin was so good that it made me appreciate Batman even more than I did after watching it, and I can’t wait for the second movie. So how would Dune: Prophecy affect the third movie, if there ever is one.
